Tata Motors recently took the wraps off the Curvv EV and Curvv ICE. Ahead of the Tata Curvv EV launch, a new report claims to have received details on the Tata Curvv EV’s safety rating, battery and range specifications. Read on to know more details about the upcoming Tata Curvv EV.
Tata Curvv EV BNCAP, GNCAP Safety Rating
As per the new media report, Tata Curvv EV has been given a 5-star safety rating from both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP. The Curvv EV will join the top performers in the aforementioned tests like the Tata Nexon, Harrier, Safari, Punch and Altroz. However, either of the crash test agencies and Tata Motors are yet to affirm the made claims.

Tata Curvv EV Battery And Range Details
As per the media report, the Tata Curvv EV will come with two battery pack options. While the details of the smaller battery pack option are unknown, the bigger Tata Curvv EV battery pack is said to have a capacity of 55kWh, which is said to offer a claimed range of over 600km on a single charge. Furthermore, the report also claims that the DC fast charging on the Curvv EV will enable the coupe SUV to top up 100km range with a 10 minute charge via a compatible DC charger.
Tata Curvv EV Safety Features
The Tata Curvv EV features are unknown at the moment. However, looking at the spied images and the features offered with other Tata SUVs, the Curvv EV is likely to offer an exhaustive list of features. These could include 360-degree parking camera, level-2 ADAS features, automatic climate control, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch instrument cluster, wireless smartphone charger, front ventilated seats and dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Tata Curvv EV Launch Details
The Tata Curvv EV will be launched on August 7, 2024, and the launch of the ICE Tata Curvv will take place at a later date. Tata Curvv price is expected to start from Rs 13 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the ICE versions and Rs 18 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the EV variants. At launch, the Curvv EV will not have a direct rival, however, based on its expected specifications, it could compete with the BYD Atto 3 and MG ZS EV.
