Tata car prices to rise in India — Changes coming soon

Tata Motors has officially announced a price hike for its cars starting January 1, 2025. The decision comes in response to rising production costs, prompting the company to make this strategic move. How high will the Tata car price hike go?

Tata Motors has announced a price hike of up to 3% on its cars, effective from January 1, 2025. According to the company's official statement, the increase will vary based on the model and variant. This decision aims to partially offset rising input costs and inflation.

Currently, Tata cars are available with substantial discounts in December, offering good savings for potential buyers. However, for those whose budgets still don’t allow for a new car purchase, even with these discounts, exploring second-hand Tata cars from reliable sources could be a good alternative. This way, customers can still own a Tata vehicle without stretching their finances.

Tata Cars Lineup and New Models

Tata Motors offers a wide range of passenger vehicles, including the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Safari, and Harrier. What's interesting about their lineup is the variety of powertrain options available, ranging from petrol and diesel to CNG and even EV versions. 

While not all models come with every powertrain choice, certain models, like the Tata Nexon, are available in petrol, diesel, CNG, and EV versions. Looking at the number of Tata car launches in 2024, the lineup includes models like the Tata Punch EV, Tata Nexon CNG, Tata Curvv ICE, and Tata Curvv EV.
