The Tata Altroz Racer bookings have officially commenced in India ahead of the launch on June 7. Essentially a sportier version of the Altroz hatchback, the new Altroz Racer will boast a long list of updates including new features, a more powerful engine and sportier exteriors. Three variants of the Altroz Racer will be on offer - R1, R2 and R3. Furthermore, the new Altroz Racer will also be the first car in the segment to offer features like a 360-degree camera and blind spot monitoring while other features like connected car tech, air purifier, powered sunroof and wireless charging are also a part of the package. Tata Altroz Features And Variants

 

To be offered in three variants - R1, R2 and R3 - the new Tata Altroz Racer will be offered with multiple new features and updates. For starters, the Tata Altroz Racer features include a first-in-segment blind spot monitoring system, 360-degree camera, and front seat cooling function while other features such as an electric sunroof, 10.25-inch touchscreen ≠infotainment system, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster are also on offer. Other than this, the new Altroz Racer will also boast features such as a wireless charging pad, push-button start, air purifier, connected car tech, and cruise control [1]

Powertrain

 

The new Tata Altroz Racer will get the Nexon’s 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine capable of delivering 120hp and 170Nm of maximum torque. This engine will only be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox and will be mated to a sportier-sounding exhaust setup. More details including the Tata Altroz Racer mileage are yet to be known. 

 

Tata Altroz Racer Launch Date And Warranty


Tata will be launching the new Altroz Racer on June 7, 2024, and will position it as a direct rival to the Hyundai i20 N Line. The Tata Altroz Racer price is likely to start from around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will boast multiple cosmetic updates including a sporty dual-tone exterior paint scheme, white racing stripes, and gloss-black alloy wheels. From what we know so far, the new Tata Altroz Racer will be offered with a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty as standard while extended warranty packages might also be available.
