Skoda Kylaq petrol manual, automatic mileage revealed

Skoda India has revealed the official mileage figures of the Kylaq sub-compact SUV. The Skoda Kylaq comes with a single 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that comes with the option of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Read on to know the official Skoda Kylaq mileage for both the petrol manual and automatic transmission.

The Skoda Kylaq petrol manual mileage is rated at 19.68kmpl and petrol automatic mileage is rated at 19.05kmpl. The Kylaq shares its powertrain with the Kushaq and somehow, the larger Kushaq manages to eke out slightly better mileage than the Kylaq with the petrol manual powertrain. The Kushaq petrol manual offers a claimed mileage of 19.76kmpl over the Kylaq’s 19.68kmpl. The case is different in the case of petrol automatic, as the Kylaq offers 19.05kmpl against Kushaq’s 18.09kmpl.

Skoda Kylaq engine specifications

The new Skoda Kylaq offers a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine that generates 116PS of peak power and 178Nm of torque. It is available with both a six-speed manual and a torque converter automatic gearbox.

Skoda Kylaq features include a 10.07-inch infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 8-inch digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, front ventilated seats, ambient lighting, cooled glovebox, automatic climate control, wireless charger, 6-way electrically adjustable seats, rear armrest, adjustable front armrest, keyless entry system, and electric sunroof with anti-pinch functionality among others.

On the safety front, it offers a comprehensive set of features such as 6 airbags, ABS, hill-hold assist, ESP, vehicle stability management, ISOFIX, rear-view camera, traction control, TPMS, parking sensors, multi-collision braking, and more.
