- 1Gets five single-tone exterior colour options
- 2Powered by Volkswagen-Skoda’s 1.0-litre TSI engine
- 3Bookings open from December 2, 2024
Skoda took the wraps off its all-new mini SUV, the Kylaq, yesterday. We were quite honestly impressed with its starting price of Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), not so much with its official greenish colour though. Anyway, Skoda has revealed all the colour options for the Kylaq today, via the configurator on its official website. Here are all the new Skoda Kylaq colour options.
Skoda Kylaq colour options
Skoda is offering the Kylaq in a choice of five exterior colours, all of which are single-tone at the moment. These colour options include Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, and Olive Gold — the one that you must have seen in our launch story. Interior themes vary slightly according to the trim selected. There are three options for the wheels too, which again depend on the trim — 16-inch steel wheels, 16-inch alloy wheels, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
New Skoda Kylaq
The Kylaq is Skoda’s candidate for the sub-compact SUV market in India that is currently dominated by cars such as Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue. Based on the India-spec MQB-A0-IN platform, the Kylaq has been tailored for the Indian market, and Skoda aims to sell 1,00,000 units of this tiny SUV per year.

Kylaq powertrain
The Kylaq gets the VW Group’s 1.0-litre TSI motor that produces 116PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 178Nm. It comes paired to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque convertor. The same turbo-petrol also does duty on other VW-Skoda cars such as the Kushaq and Virtus.
Design and dimensions
The Kylaq features Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language. It gets the signature Skoda grille on the front end, which is complemented by sleek DRLs and chunky headlamps further down the face. The rear end gets tiny lights with SKODA badging at the centre of the boot lid. The ‘SUV’ measures 3,995mm in length, 1,783mm in width, 1,619mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,556mm. Ground clearance is claimed to be 189mm.
