The price range of the base variant of the Skoda Kylaq has clearly attracted many buyers. When Skoda revealed the pricing, it became evident that the company had made a strategic move. For those waiting to book the Skoda Kylaq base variant, it seems the booking window won't open anytime soon, likely not until next year.

The first batch will consist of 33,000 units, with deliveries set to begin on January 27, 2025, and expected to be completed by May 2025. To avoid creating a backlog, booking for the Skoda Kylaq Classic variant is expected to start after this first batch is delivered.

New Skoda Kylaq engine specs

The new Skoda Kylaq comes with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine that delivers 116PS of power and 178Nm of torque. It offers a choice between a six-speed manual transmission and a torque converter automatic gearbox.
