Secure your MG Windsor EV – Official bookings open in India

MG Motor India has opened the booking window for the MG Windsor EV nationwide. You can reserve yours with a token amount of just Rs 11,000. The Windsor EV comes in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence, available both with and without the BaaS program. You can choose from four attractive colours: Clay Beige, Pearl White, Starburst Black, and Turquoise Green. Deliveries for this exciting new electric vehicle will begin on October 12, 2024. Engine & dimensions

The Windsor EV comes with a 38 kWh battery, delivering 136PS of power and 200Nm of torque. It has an ARAI-certified range of 332 km and features an automatic transmission. With 604 litres of boot space and a ground clearance of 186 mm, it’s practical for everyday use. The car measures 4,295 mm in length, 2,126 mm in width, and 1,677 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, providing a spacious interior.

Variants & prices

The MG Windor EV has a price difference of Rs 3,50,200 between options with and without the battery rental program. For example, the Excite variant with the battery rental option is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, while the same variant with a battery included costs Rs 13,49,800. The Exclusive variant follows the same pattern: it’s priced at Rs 14,49,800 without the rental program and Rs 10,99,000 with it. Lastly, the top Essence variant costs Rs 15,49,800 without the rental and Rs 11,99,000 with it.

Customers should know that when you choose the Windsor EV with the rental program, you only pay for the vehicle itself, but you'll have to pay separately for battery usage, which costs Rs 3.50 per km.

Interior & safety features

Inside the MG Windsor EV, you'll find a 15.6-inch Grandview Touch Display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an 8.8-inch LCD cluster. The vehicle features nine speakers, an M Glass Roof, ventilated front-row seats, and fully automatic temperature control. It also includes a wireless charger, electrically adjustable and auto-folding outside rearview mirrors, ambient lighting, and more.

On the safety side, it boasts six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program, a Hill-Start Assist Control, Hill Descent Control, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, an Emergency Stop Signal, TPMS, and additional safety features.
