Rolls Royce has officially launched the Cullinan Series II in India, at a starting price of Rs 10.50 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). But, are you really bothered about the price if you have enough to afford one? Coming to the matter at hand, the updated Rolls Royce Cullinan gets design tweaks and some feature additions. Here’s everything you need to know about this ultra-luxury SUV.

Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II

The Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II is essentially a facelifted version of the Cullinan that was launched back in 2018. It was the first SUV from the British automaker that is otherwise known for making bespoke ultra-luxurious sedans like the Phantom. The Cullinan has the highest ex-showroom price for a car in India, even surpassing the Rolls Royce Phantom VIII.

Powertrain

The Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II is powered by a 6.7-litre V12 engine that generates an output of 571PS of power and 850Nm of peak torque. The Black Badge produces 608PS of power and 900Nm of peak torque.

Styling updates

The new Cullinan isn’t vastly different from its predecessor in terms of design, but it does get a few touches here and there. The DRLs at the front are now flanked by angular surfaces that aim to give it a more modern look (they don’t look that nice though). The Cullinan II also features redesigned air intakes and an illuminated front grille. There’s a new 7-spoke wheel design for the Cullinan’s 23-inch wheels. The rear of the SUV looks more or less identical to the previous generation.

Interior and features

There’s a large single glass panel on the dashboard that features the infotainment screen, instrumentation panel, the Spirit of Ecstasy, a clock and a couple more features. Below the glass panel are AC vents and dials & switches for the HVAC controls. Being a Rolls Royce, there are innumerable customisation options both on the inside as well as the outside.

Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II price in India

Starting ex-showroom price of the new Rolls Royce Cullinan has been set at a staggering Rs 10.50 crore, while the same for the Black Badge version has been set at Rs 12.25 crore. But again, is the starting price really an object when you’re out to buy a Rolls?
