Range Rover has launched a special edition for India called the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition, priced at Rs 4.98 crore. Only 12 units of this exclusive edition will be available. The design draws inspiration from the majestic tiger, which is reflected not only in its exterior but also in the interior design elements. What’s the Exterior Design Like?
The Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is a stunning vehicle custom-designed by the SV Division. Its exterior features a striking deep black body colour with a hidden shimmering red effect that catches the eye. Accentuating this sleek look are stylish strip-like elements in Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite, mimicking the appearance of tiger stripes. The front grille and rear also showcase the elegant Corinthian Bronze touch, and even the Range Rover badge is accented in this colour. Completing the design are impressive 23-inch forged dark grey wheels with Corinthian Bronze inserts, adding an extra touch of elegance.
What's Inside?
Inside, you’ll find fully reclinable seats for the rear passengers, along with a powered club table, deployable cupholders, and a refrigerated compartment. The front seats are finished in an elegant ivory colour, while the rear seats showcase a darker sandy hue, creating a chic beige sandy interior.
The interior of the Ranthambore Edition is designed in a warm beige sandy colour, giving it a cosy vibe. The seats are upholstered in Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather, featuring beautiful stitching that adds a stylish contrast and highlights the intricate embroidery on each seat. Custom details are showcased on the cushions specific to the Ranthambore Edition. Additionally, you'll find SV Bespoke branded tread plates, proudly displaying the 'Ranthambore Edition' label along with '1 of 12,' emphasizing the exclusivity of this edition.
What’s Under the Hood?
On the engine side, this edition features a robust 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering an impressive 400PS and 550Nm of torque. It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Another notable aspect of this special edition is that a portion of its sales will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India, contributing to a worthy cause.
