Among them, Tata Motors is likely to draw attention with the anticipated debut of the Tata Harrier EV. notably, this model was showcased earlier at the Bharat Mobility Gobality Expo 2024 in a production avatar.

The anticipation for the Harrier EV debut has grown stronger following the emergence of fresh spy shots of the EV in its production form. Some intriguing details, such as a rear electric motor, have been observed, along with hidden elements related to its exterior design. Tata Harrier EV exterior details

The Tata Harrier ICE version currently stands as the flagship SUV in Tata's lineup, and the upcoming Harrier EV is expected to draw design inspiration from its ICE counterpart. Past spy shots have revealed similarities in the exterior, with the EV likely to feature a connected lighting element at the front, a revised bumper, a redesigned closed-off grille, and a silhouette similar to the ice harrier. The rear section might also retain a familiar look.

Upcoming Tata Harrier EV interior, features, & safety

The interior of the Tata Harrier EV is also expected to mirror elements of its ICE version, including the familiar layout and the 12.29-inch infotainment screen. However, there may be unique touches to distinguish it from the ICE model. 

Additional expected Tata Harrier EV features include digital driver display, four-spoke steering wheel, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPay connectivity, touch-based HVAC controls, dashboard-mounted speakers, wireless charger, rotary drive mode selector, and height-adjustable seats for both the driver and co-driver, among others

Safety features are expected to include six airbags, ABS, hill hold assist, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, 360-deg camera, parking sensors, and potentially ADAS, similar to its ICE counterpart.

Tata Harrier EV powertrain specifications 

One of the most anticipated parts is the Tata Harrier EV specs. The spy shots reveal an electric motor positioned at the rear. It is expected that the base variant might come with RWD, while higher trims could offer AWD. 

In terms of the Harrier EV range, competitors like the Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra XEV e9 boast ranges of up to 585 km and 656 km, respectively.  To stay in the competition, The Harrier EV might come with a range exceeding 500 km.

Upcoming Tata Harrier EV price

The ICE Tata Harrier price starts at Rs 14.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.39 lakh. For the Tata Harrier EV price, expectations place the starting range around Rs 25 lakh.
