Nissan X-Trail Revealed - Top 5 Things To Know Ahead Of India Launch

Nissan India revealed the India-bound Nissan X-Trail yesterday. The X-Trail will go against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan, Jeep Meridian, and the Skoda Kodiaq. Here are top 5 things to know about the soon-to-be-launched 2024 Nissan X-Trail.

Nissan X-Trail Powertrain

The Nissan X-Trail will be offered with just one engine option — a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This mill will generate an output of 161bhp and 300Nm of torque. Complementing the engine is a 12V mild-hybrid system. The power is sent to the front wheels via a CVT gearbox, and there is no 4x4 on offer on this 'SUV'.

Nissan X-Trail Dimensions

The dimensions of the India-bound Nissan X-Trail are 4,680mm in length, 1,840mm in width, 1,725mm in height and has a 2,705mm long wheelbase. It gets 20-inch tyres and 210mm of ground clearance.

Nissan X-Trail Features

The Nissan X-Trail will feature a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera setup, wireless smartphone charger, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital driver's display, electronic parking brake with auto-hold function and dual-zone climate control, among other features.

Nissan X-Trail Price (Tentative)

The Nissan X-Trail will come to India via the CBU route. This will likely make the SUV a pricey offering. We expect it to be priced north of Rs 40 Lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
