Nissan India has finally started teasing the upcoming Nissan Magnite facelift, with the first teaser now out on its social media. The teaser hints at the launch, which is set for October 4, 2024. One of the highlights in the teaser is the new alloy wheel design of the facelift. The new alloy wheel in the teaser looks almost identical to what was spotted on the test mule of the Nissan Magnite facelift. In terms of design, this facelift is expected to come with a refreshed front, featuring a redesigned headlamp, grille, and bonnet. The sides may not have many changes, but the rear is likely to see updates, especially around the taillamps.

The upcoming model is expected to offer an improved range of features, although the cabin design might not see significant changes. If they do decide to update the interior styling, it would definitely enhance the overall appeal. We can look forward to a larger infotainment screen option that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other exciting features may include a digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, rear AC vents, cruise control, air purifier, tyre pressure monitoring system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, automatic climate control, and hopefully, ventilated seats for added comfort.

On the safety front, the model is likely to come equipped with six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, anti-lock braking system, ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic brake-force distribution, vehicle dynamic control, hill start assist, and traction control system, among other features. Additionally, the presence of all-disc brakes is another anticipated feature that many would appreciate in this model.

Nissan Magnite facelift engine options

The upcoming model isn’t expected to have many significant changes under the hood. It will likely continue to feature a 1-litre N/A engine, producing 72PS and 96Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. Additionally, a 1-litre turbo petrol engine will be available, generating 100PS. With a 5-speed manual, it offers 160Nm of torque, while the CVT gearbox provides slightly lower torque at 152Nm.

Currently, the pre-facelift Magnite is priced between R 5,99,900 and Rs 10,66,000. It’s expected that the new facelift will come with a slight increase in price, starting from around Rs 6.10 lakh and going up to about Rs 11.30 lakh.
