Outline

The Nissan Magnite CNG is expected to launch soon in India. Currently, the model comes with two engine options: a 1.0L N/A petrol engine and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine. It looks like government-approved retrofit CNG kits will be introduced for this model, similar to how Renault has introduced them across its range – Kiger, Triber, and Kwid. Even Honda has added this option for its next-gen Honda Amaze. Keep reading below for more details on the Nissan Magnite CNG, including retrofit costs, other changes, and more.

The Nissan Magnite is available in six variants – Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. The price range starts from Rs 6.12 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.72 lakh. As for the Nissan Magnite CNG launch, there hasn’t been an official statement from the carmaker, but reports suggest that it could launch soon.

It is expected that the CNG variant might sit between the petrol and turbo petrol engine options. In the Renault Kwid, the retrofit CNG kit is priced at Rs 75,000, while in the Triber and Kiger models, the price is Rs 79,500. For the Honda Amaze, the conversion to CNG costs around Rs 1 lakh. If the Nissan Magnite CNG gets introduced, the fitting will take place at RTO-approved CNG retrofitting facilities. It will continue to look the same as the regular model. Additionally, the features of this model are expected to remain unchanged, depending on the variant.
