New Toyota Camry launched in India
Toyota India has launched a generational update for its flagship sedan in India, giving it a major design overhaul along with a new dashboard layout and an added set of features. The new Camry goes against other entry-level luxury sedans in India like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3-Series, Skoda Superb, and Audi A4, the first three of which it undercuts by a considerable margin.

The new Camry is being offered in a single trim choice, but the same can be specced in a choice of six exterior colours — Platinum White, Cement Grey, Emotional Red, Attitude Black, Dark Blue, and Precious Metal. Updated Toyota Camry interior
The new Camry also gets an updated interior with a redesigned dashboard. There’s just one option for the leather upholstery and dashboard trims — a dual-tone black and yellow-brown leather combination. Notable features of the new Toyota Camry include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, head-up display, 10-way electronically adjustable front seats, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, three-zone climate control, 9 airbags, reclining rear seats, boot access from inside the cabin, and more such useful stuff.
2025 Toyota Camry powertrain and mileage
The updated Camry continues to be powered by the famed and reliable 2.5-litre hybrid system that comes paired to an e-CVT. The said powertrain produces a maximum power output of 230PS. The engine alone has a peak torque output rated at 221Nm, while that of the motor stands at 208Nm. Claimed fuel efficiency is an unbeatable 25.49kmpl.
