New Renault Kwid CNG launched in India at a premium of Rs 75,000 — All details

Renault India has introduced CNG options for all Renault cars in India today — Triber, Kiger, and Kwid. While the cars still don’t come with the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit, the carmaker is offering the option to get it fitted from authorised dealers and vendors, and is also offering a three-year warranty on the same. 2025 Renault Kwid CNG

Most of the Renault Kwid competitors have been available with CNG kits such as the Maruti Alto K10 and Tata Tiago, and there is considerable demand for affordable CNG cars in India. Hence, Renault has started offering the option of retrofitted CNG kits on the Kwid from today. Note that the CNG option is restricted to Renault Kwid manual variants only, and isn’t offered with the Renault Kwid AMT variants.

2025 Renault Kwid CNG price in India

All prices mentioned in the table above are ex-showroom, Delhi). The Renault Kwid CNG variants in India come with a three-year warranty. 

Renault Kwid CNG kits’ availability

At present, the Renault Kwid CNG is available in the states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Delhi. It is expected that Renault will expand the availability to more states in the coming weeks.

Renault Kwid engine specs

The Renault Kwid is available with a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 68PS of maximum power and 91Nm of peak torque. It comes with the option of a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT.
