New Renault Duster Safety Ratings Out - India Launch In 2025

After releasing the crash test ratings of the new Suzuki Swift, Euro NCAP has released the latest Dacia Duster safety ratings, which will be sold as the Renault Duster in India. It is, however, disclaimed that these safety ratings might not be relevant for the Indian-spec Renault Duster as the cars tested were Euro-spec models. 2024 Renault Duster Safety Rating

Similar to the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift, the Dacia Duster scored a 3-star rating in the Euro NCAP test. Breaking down this rating, the Duster scored 70% in adult occupant protection, 84% in child occupant protection, 60% in vulnerable road user protection and 57% in safety assist. 2024 Dacia Duster Specifications

The variant tested by Euro NCAP had a 1.6-litre hybrid powertrain with an LHD configuration. It was equipped with multiple airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, belt load limiters, seat belt reminders and certain ADAS features.

Renault Duster India Launch

The new Renault Duster, which will be closely related to the Dacia Duster that has been talked about above, is likely to make its way to the Indian markets by sometime next year.
