2024 Kia Carnival
Kia Carnival is a 7-seater MPV from the South Korean automaker that does duty as a luxury people mover, boasting impressive rear-seat comfort and convenience. Previous generation of the Carnival was discontinued in India due to the stricter BS6 emission norms and the MPV has made its way back in a refreshed avatar.
Design and styling
The new Kia Carnival shares its design cues with Kia’s latest products. Key design changes over the previous model include sleek LED headlights with arrow-shaped LED DRLs, a redesigned tiger nose kidney grille, reprofiled bumpers, and connected LED tail lights. The Carnival retains the signature electronically sliding rear doors for easy ingress and egress for the rear passengers.

Engine and transmission
The updated Kia Carnival gets a 2.2-litre diesel engine that comes paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The said powertrain produces 193PS of power and 441Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to the front wheels of the Carnival.
Carnival features and interior
The Carnival is meant to be a chauffeur-driven car, thus, the second-row seats feature powered ventilated seats as well as powered sliding doors. There’s a dual-pane sunroof, three-zone climate control, a 12-speaker sound system, and a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup for infotainment and instrumentation. On the safety front, apart from the standard features, the new Carnival also gets a Level-2 ADAS suite with 23 functionalities. It also gets a digital rear-view mirror, 360-degree cameras, and a heads-up display.

New Kia Carnival price in India
The 2024 Kia Carnival price in India for the Limousine Plus trim has been announced as Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Prices for the Limousine trim are yet to be disclosed. There are two colour options available for the exterior — Fusion Black and Glacier White Pearl. The Limousine trim gets a Navy and Misty Grey dual-tone interior while the Limousine Plus trim features a combination of Tuscan and Umber. Kia has already clocked 2,796 bookings for the Carnival as of today. Kia is also offering a 3-year free maintenance, warranty, and roadside assistance package with the new Carnival MPV.
