Honda has launched the fourth generation of the Honda Amaze in India today, at a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Set to go head on against the new Maruti Dzire, the updated Amaze gets a revamped styling, new interior, and modern features. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Honda Amaze.
Design and styling
The 2025 Honda Amaze gets a front fascia that has been inspired by the Elevate, and a rear design that looks very similar to that of the current generation Honda City. The side profile features a strong shoulder line that was also seen on the previous generation. All-in-all, the updated Honda Amaze looks upmarket from the outgoing model.

Engine details
The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder has been carried over from the outgoing model, along with the same 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox options. The said powertrain produces 90PS of maximum power and 110Nm of peak torque. There has been no announcement of a factory-fitted CNG option at the new Amaze launch.
Interior and features
The interior and dashboard layout of the new Amaze also gets a complete revamp, with rectangular AC vents that are part of a strip that runs throughout the length of the dashboard, a touchscreen for infotainment on the top, and HVAC controls below the panel. Key Honda Amaze features include a camera-based ADAS suite, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity, 6-speakers, 6 airbags as standard, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, lane watch camera, and LED headlamps.

The new Honda Amaze starting price in India has been announced as Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base manual variant.
