New BMW X7 Signature Edition launched – Priced at Rs 1.33 crore

BMW India has launched a ‘Signature Edition’ of the X7 SUV in India at a price of Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available only in the xDrive40i M Sport trim, the BMW X7 Signature Edition is being offered in limited units and can exclusively be booked via the BMW Online Shop. BMW X7 Signature Edition – What is it?

The 2024 BMW X7 Signature Edition is a limited-production version of the X7 SUV that is based on the xDrive40i M Sport trim. To put it in simpler terms, it is a cosmetic upgrade over the standard BMW X7 petrol that is currently available in the country. Notably, the said SUV is assembled at BMW Group’s plant in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

BMW X7 Signature Edition powertrain

The new BMW X7 Signature Edition carries over the same powertrain as seen on the standard xDrive40i M Sport trim. This comprises a turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 381PS of power and 520Nm of peak torque, a 48-Volt electric motor assisting the engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and BMW’s xDrive 4WD setup.

Signature Edition exterior enhancements

The BMW X7 Signature Edition gets some exclusive exterior elements that help justify the Rs 3 lakh price difference over the standard BMW X7. The Signature Edition gets two new exterior colour options —  Tanzanite Blue and Davit Grey. Furthermore, it gets Swarovski glass crystals as part of the DRLs, aluminium satinated roof rails, and new graphics for the tail lights.

Signature Edition interior upgrades

On the interior, the upholstery is done in BMW Individual Merino leather featuring Tartufo and Ivory White shades. The door pins are topped with exquisite-looking crystals, highlighting the attention to detail. The backrest cushions are finished in Alcantara.

2024 BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport Signature Edition price

The BMW X7 Signature Edition is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.33 crore, which marks a Rs 3 lakh premium over the standard petrol X7. Bookings for the same can be made via the BMW Online Shop and BMW said that they have allocated limited units of the X7 Signature Edition for India.
