New Audi RS Q8 Performance India launch on February 17 — Bookings open

Audi’s most powerful SUV in the world — the Audi RS Q8 Performance — is all-set to be launched in India on February 17, 2025. Audi India has started accepting bookings for the same ahead of the SUV’s official launch. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Audi RS Q8 Performance.

2025 Audi RS Q8 Performance

Powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, the RS Q8 Performance is the most powerful SUV to come out of Audi’s factory. The car also happens to be the fastest production SUV around the Nurburgring, with a record lap time of 7:36.698 minutes. 

Upcoming Audi RS Q8 Performance bookings

You can book yourself a spanking new RS Q8 Performance for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. The bookings can be made on Audi India’s official website, or via the myAudi connect mobile application. The Audi RS Q8 Performance launch in India shall take place on February 17, 2025.

Expected Audi RS Q8 Performance price in India

The standard Audi Q8 price in India stands at Rs 1.17 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the more powerful Audi RS Q8 is priced at Rs 2.22 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is reasonable to expect the upcoming Audi RS Q8 Performance to be priced upwards of Rs 2.5 crore (ex-showroom).

Audi RS Q8 Performance engine details

The RS Q8 Performance comes equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 TFSI engine that has been tuned to generate 649PS of maximum power and 850Nm of peak torque. The SUV can reach triple digit speeds in 3.6 seconds, and the Audi RS Q8 Performance top speed can be bumped up to 305kmph from the standard 250kmph with the optional package, which would cost you another few lakh rupees. The V8 comes mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.

Audi RS Q8 Performance design and styling

The front face of the RS Q8 gets a humongous grille with a honeycomb pattern, accompanied by large air intakes and Matrix headlights. The side profile is identical to the standard Audi Q8, albeit with aggressive-looking alloy wheels. The rear features connected lights that look rather good, along with blacked out badges, a rear diffuser, and large exhaust tips. There’s a generous amount of black used throughout the exterior.

New Audi RS Q8 Performance interior and features

The interior of the RS  8 Performance gets hints of Alcantara, Dinamica microfiber and recycled PET fibers all over the place. The seats and the wheel get RS badging along with red or blue accents. Some of the Audi RS Q8 Performance features include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, Audi’s MMI infotainment system, four-zone climate control, drive modes, and more.
