MG ZS EV prices hiked by up to Rs 32,000 this October

While the price hike has affected the Hector and Astor, the MG ZS EV has also joined the trend, seeing an increase ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 32,000 across various variants. Fortunately, some selected variants, such as the Executive and Excite Pro, remain unaffected and have not changed in price. How much has the MG ZS EV price increased?

The MG ZS EV is offered in five variants: Executive, Excite Pro, Exclusive Plus, Exclusive Plus 100 Year Edition, and Essence. The lowest price hike begins at Rs 30,000 for the Exclusive Plus variant featuring the dual-tone Iconic Ivory interior. Meanwhile, the same Exclusive Plus variant with the dual-tone Iconic Ivory interior sees a slightly higher increase of Rs 30,200. Both the Exclusive Plus 100 Year Edition and the Essence variants, also with the dual-tone Iconic Ivory interior, have a uniform price hike of Rs 31,000 each. The highest increase is found in the Essence variant with the Dark Grey interior, which sees a hike of Rs 32,000.

MG ZS EV range, battery, charging, & more

The MG ZS EV features a 50.3 kWh battery and is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, delivering 176.75 PS and 280 Nm of torque. It’s paired with an automatic transmission and offers an impressive range of 461 km on a single charge. With a 7.4 kW charger, it takes about 8.5 to 9 hours to fully charge from 0 to 100%. Alternatively, using a 50 kW CCS charger allows for a quicker charge, reaching 80% in just 60 minutes.
