MG Windsor EV deliveries have begun nationwide. For those looking to place their orders now, the current waiting time is estimated to be up to three months. However, this timeframe can vary depending on the region, the variant chosen, colour, and other factors. The MG Windsor EV is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. It features a 38 kWh battery paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Let's continue below to take a closer look at what this EV has to offer.

MG Windsor EV price, variants, & battery rental financing

The MG Windsor EV price without the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program starts at Rs 13.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.49 lakh. If you opt for the Windsor EV with the BaaS program, the price ranges from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 11.99 lakh.

For those considering the rental program, there are four financiers offering battery rental services: Bajaj Finance Ltd, Herofin Corp, VidyutTech Services Pvt Ltd, and Ecofy & Autovert Technologies Pvt Ltd. Ecofy & Autovert charge Rs 5.80 per kilometre, while the other three financiers charge Rs 3.50 per kilometre for battery usage. Customers are advised to contact the financiers directly to learn about any additional perks or charges associated with their services.

2024 MG Windsor EV features 

The MG Windsor EV features a 15.6-inch Grandview touch display compatible with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.8-inch digital cluster, and nine speakers. It also includes ventilated front-row seats, a multi-level reclining rear seat, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, cruise control, fully automatic temperature control, a glass roof, a wireless smartphone charger, and power-folding ORVMs with auto fold, among others. In terms of safety, it is equipped with six airbags, ABS, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, EPB, auto hold, hill descent control, and more.

MG Windsor EV range, battery, & charging time

The MG Windsor EV comes equipped with a 38 kWh battery, delivering an impressive 136 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It boasts a range of 332 km on a single charge. There are three charging options available: the 3.3 kW charger takes about 13.8 hours to fully charge from 0-100%, while the 7.4 kW charger reduces this time to just 6.5 hours. Additionally, a heavy 50 kW charger can recharge the battery from 0-80% in only 55 minutes.
