MG Windsor bookings begin tomorrow – Delivery date revealed

MG India has confirmed that the all-new MG Windsor EV bookings will open on October 3, 2024 across the country. Customers can secure their booking with a token amount of Rs 11,000. Interested buyers can place their booking either through the official MG Motor India website or at authorized MG Motor dealerships. Windsor EV price: With & without the BaaS program, delivery dates

The MG Windsor EV comes in three variants — Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. Each variant is available with or without the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program. If you opt for the BaaS program, you can purchase the EV at a more affordable price, but you'll need to pay separately for the battery on a rental basis. Essentially, you're buying the car, but the battery will be rented from the financing partners.

Opting for the MG Windsor EV with the BaaS program makes it Rs 3,50,800 than purchasing it upfront for the Excite variant. The same price difference of Rs 3,50,800 applies to the Exclusive and Essence variants as well. The battery rental costs Rs 3.50 per kilometre. The Windsor EV colour options include Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green. Deliveries for the MG Windsor EV are set to begin on October 12, 2024.

What's under the hood (more like, under the floor)

Powering the MG Windsor is a 38 kWh Li-ion battery pack paired to an electric motor that delivers 136PS of power and 200Nm of torque. It offers a claimed range of up to 332 km on a single charge. The EV comes with four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport, allowing for a tailored driving experience.

First customers to reap big rewards

MG Motors is offering some exciting benefits for the first set of customers of the new Windsor EV. The battery comes with a lifetime warranty for these customers, ensuring peace of mind. Additionally, there’s one year of free charging available at public chargers through the eHUB initiative by MG. Customers are also guaranteed a 60% buyback after three years or 45,000 km.

Moreover, the MG e-Shield program provides a comprehensive 3-3-3 package, which includes a three-year unlimited km warranty on the vehicle, three years of roadside assistance coverage, and three labour-charges free services for the first set of customers.
