JSW MG Motor India Future Plans

Building on the growth of new energy electric vehicles, MG Motor India is set to expand its EV lineup, with the launch of the new electric CUV. The carmaker has already revealed the name of the new CUV, which will be called the Windsor EV. It is worth mentioning that the Windsor EV is already on sale in other global markets under the Wuling brand named Cloud EV. The Cloud EV was recently showcased at the 2024 GIIAS auto show and the similar spec is headed to the Indian market, based on the limited amount of images and teaser videos we have access to.

While EVs play a big role in MG Motor India’s roadmap, the carmaker is also looking at hybrids and plug-in-hybrids as an alternative to lure new buyers, who are not yet ready to completely switch to its all-electric portfolio.
