MG Hector & Hector Plus prices hiked by Rs 30,000 – Slightly costlier now

The MG Hector price has seen a slight increase, with hikes of up to Rs 22,000. Meanwhile, the Hector Plus has experienced a higher jump, with prices rising by Rs 30,000. However, some variants remain unchanged; for example, the base 5-seater Style variant with a petrol manual transmission continues to be priced at Rs 13.99 lakh. MG Hector & MG Hector Plus updated prices

The price hike for the MG Hector 5-seater ranges from Rs 16,000 to Rs 22,000. Not only does the base Style petrol MT variant remain unaffected by this increase, but the Smart Pro diesel MT variant also sees no change. Now, the Hector 5-seater's price starts from Rs 13.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.24 lakh in India.

For those interested in the MG Hector Plus 6 or 7-seater, the price hike is between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 across the various variants. Consequently, the price for the Hector Plus begins at Rs 17.30 lakh.

MG Hector engine options

The MG Hector engine options include a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 143PS and 250Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed MT or a CVT. Additionally, there’s a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 170PS and 350Nm of torque, available solely with a 6-speed MT. These same engine options are also featured in the MG Hector 6-seater and 7-seater variants.
