Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Hybrid — Save Up To Rs 3.13 Lakh 

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara gets up to Rs 3.13 lakh benefits on strong hybrids, all thanks to the new hybrid registration policy and lucrative discounts offered by select dealers. The Rs 3.13 lakh benefit includes the road tax, which stands at 8% of the ex-showroom price. Maruti dealers are also offering a complimentary 5-year or 1,00,000-kilometre warranty on the Grand Vitara. As per our dealer sources, this offer is said to last only for the month of July 2024 and is subject to change in the coming months.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder — Save Up To Rs 2 Lakh

Similar to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder also benefits from road tax waive off, thereby reducing its on-road price by Rs 2 lakh. The Grand Vitara strong hybrid shares its hybrid powertrain with the Grand Vitara hybrid. The introduction of the zero road tax scheme in U.P reduces the price gap between the hybrid and petrol variants, thereby making the hybrid a more sensible option than before.

Honda City e:HEV — Save Up To Rs 2.10 Lakh

The Honda City e:HEV is Honda’s only hybrid offering in the Indian market and it is getting benefit of up to Rs 2.10 lakh as per of the road tax rebate in U.P. Since the Honda City e:HEV is not as popular and high selling as the Grand Vitara, buyers can expect dealer level discounts as well, further sweetening the deal.

Toyota Hycross — Save Up To Rs 3.10 Lakh

In case of the Toyota Hycross hybrid, the customers in U.P get a road tax relaxation of Rs 3.10 lakh on the on-road price. This price cut again makes the hybrid a much more sensible choice over the normal petrol Hycross. Since the Hycross hybrid is already in very high demand, do not expect any lucrative dealer level discounts from Toyota.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto — Save Up To Rs 3 Lakh

Since the Maruti Suzuki Invicto is essentially a Toyota Hyrcross Hybrid without ADAS and a few extra features, it also gets a road tax rebate of Rs 3 lakh on its on-road price in U.P. The Maruti Suzuki Invicto carries lesser ex-showroom price compared to the equivalent variants of the Hycross, and that explains its marginally smaller road tax savings over its Toyota sibling.

Toyota Camry — Save Up To Rs 4.4 Lakh

The Toyota Camry gets a maximum road tax saving of Rs 4.4 lakh in U.P. The Camry offers a very efficient and powerful strong hybrid powertrain, which is complimented with a 2.5-litre petrol engine. Since the new-gen Camry is already on sale in the global market, the left over stock of the MY2023 as well as MY2024 could be availed with a good dealer-level discount.
