The Maruti Swift price hike has mainly affected the variants with the automatic gearbox, increasing by Rs 5,000. The variants that have become more expensive include Vxi AGS, Vxi (O) AGS, Zxi AGS, Zxi+ AGS, and Zxi+ AGS Dual Tone. The prices for the other variants remain the same. After the hike, the Maruti Swift price list now ranges from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.64 lakh.
But here's some good news for buyers – there are new offers on Maruti Arena cars, including both old and new Swift models. Discounts on the new Swift go up to Rs 65,000, while the old Swift gets discounts of up to Rs 35,000. For those interested in the Maruti Nexa range, there are also offers available, reaching up to Rs 3.15 lakh.

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift comes with a 1.2L Z-series petrol engine, available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. There's also a CNG powertrain that uses the same petrol engine, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Maruti Swift mileage with the manual gearbox is claimed to be 24.8 km/l, while the automatic version offers a claimed mileage of 25.75 km/l. The Maruti Swift CNG mileage is claimed to be 32.85 km/kg.
