The new-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission, boasting a claimed mileage of 24.80 km/l, or an AMT transmission, which offers a slightly better-claimed mileage of 25.75 km/l.
Additionally, the Swift is available in a CNG variant, producing 69 PS and 102 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission. This version comes with a claimed mileage of 32.85 km/kg.
