Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz Edition launched – More features for Rs 10,000

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched a limited-edition series for the Wagon R hatchback ahead of this year’s festive season. Dubbed as the Wagon R Waltz Edition, this new Wagon R features some design enhancements and feature additions over the existing model at a premium of Rs 10,000. New Maruti Wagon R Waltz Edition feature additions

The 2024 Maruti Wagon R Waltz Edition gets some extra features over the standard Wagon R. This limited-production model gets a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a reverse parking camera. It also adds speakers and a security system. In terms of design elements, there are Waltz Edition seat covers and designer floor mats as part of the new model.

Wagon R Waltz Edition exterior features

In addition to the features added inside the cabin, the Waltz Edition includes some exterior enhancements to make it stand out from the standard Maruti Suzuki Wagon R. These consist of a front grille finished in chrome, wheel-arch cladding, bumper protectors, side-skirts, body side moulding, and a couple more styling elements. It also gets front fog lamps, which are otherwise seen on just the fully-loaded ZXi+ variant. This is coupled with chrome garnish for the fog lamps. 

Engine and transmission options

There are naturally no changes on the powertrain front, with the Waltz Edition being offered on all engine and transmission combinations. The powertrain options include a 1.0-litre three cylinder petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT, and a 1.2-litre four cylinder petrol engine paired to the same set of transmissions. A factory-fitted CNG kit is available with the three cylinder unit.

Wagon R Waltz Edition price in India

Prices for the Waltz Edition start from Rs 5.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is a premium of Rs 10,000 over the standard Wagon R. The Waltz Edition is basically a styling kit and is available on all Maruti Suzuki Wagon R variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.
