Maruti Suzuki July 2024 Sales In India - Major 9.6% YoY Decline

The latest Maruti Suzuki car sales in July 2024 have recently been reported by Maruti Suzuki India Limited as we roll into August 2024. With a total sales of 1,75,041 units in July 2024, Maruti Suzuki continues to dominate the Indian auto market but has witnessed a marginal decline in sales when compared to July 2023. For starters, while the domestic sales stood at 1,37,463 units in India, the brand exported 23,985 cars to other international markets. Maruti Suzuki July 2024 Sales In Domestic Market

While the brand sold a total of 1,75,041 units in July 2024, a total of 1,37,463 were sold in India. The majority of the Maruti car sales come from the compact segment which has cars like the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR. This segment has contributed to a total sales of 58,682 units in July 2024.

The second best-selling segment for Maruti is the Utility Vehicles (UVs). With a total sales of 56,302 units in July 2024, this segment has cars like the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny and the XL6. Other than this, the Mini segment cars like the Alto and the S-Presso contributed to monthly sales of 9,960 units while the sales from the Van category were 11,916 units.

Maruti Suzuki July 2024 Exports

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has reported a significant increase in the total sales volume for the month of July 2024. The Maruti Suzuki export volumes for July 2024 stands at 23,985 units while only 22,199 units were exported in July 2023. This number however is significantly lower than the June 2024 export volume, which stood at 31,033 units.
