Maruti Suzuki has been spotted testing the Hustler hatchback in Delhi recently. A classic example of a Japanese Kei car, the Suzuki Hustler is sold in its home market back in Japan. Will Maruti Suzuki launch this micro car in India? (Please don’t call this an SUV) Here’s what we know about the Suzuki Hustler.
Maruti Suzuki Hustler
Sold in the Japanese market, the Suzuki Hustler is a Kei car, measuring 3,395 mm in length and 1,475 mm in width. It sits on 15-inch wheels and is powered by a tiny 660cc three-cylinder petrol engine. If launched, the Hustler might replace the Maruti Suzuki Ignis or the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, neither of which are bringing in substantial sales for the highest-selling passenger vehicle brand in India. Though we aren’t very positive about the likelihood of Suzuki launching the Hustler micro car here in India.
