Upcoming Maruti Grand Vitara 7-seater

The Maruti Grand Vitara has been another hit product for the carmaker, and a 7-seater version of the same has been much awaited. The Grand Vitara is a rebadged version of the Toyota Hyryder, and the SUV has been jointly developed by both the carmakers under their global alliance.

Maruti Grand Vitara 7-seater spy shots

Spy shots of the 7-seater Grand Vitara indicate that the SUV will feature cosmetic changes over the standard 5-seater version, in addition to being longer than it. Key expectations from the exterior include a redesigned front grille, tweaked bumpers, different headlamps, and more. The SUV might also borrow some of its cues from the new Maruti e Vitara that is also scheduled to be launched in India this year. Speaking of the interior, we expect the SUV to get a larger touchscreen unit than the 5-seater version. We do not have any images of the Grand Vitara 7-seater interior yet.

New Maruti Grand Vitara 7-seater launch timeline

The Maruti Grand Vitara 7-seater India launch is expected to take place either later this year or earlier next year.
