Suzuki Motor Corporation has finally taken the wraps off the production ready version of its first ever EV, the Suzuki e Vitara. Codenamed the eVX, the carmaker has decided to leverage the Vitara brand value for its first electric car in the world. Featuring a modern design on the outside and a fresh new interior layout, the e Vitara is set to break stereotypes when launched as the Maruti e Vitara in India. Here are more details about the design, battery, motors, and other specifications of the new Suzuki e Vitara.
New Suzuki e Vitara
The e Vitara is the carmaker’s first ever electric SUV that has been built on the new Heartect-e platform that has been jointly developed by Suzuki, Toyota, and Diahatsu. A concept of the e Vitara, which was then known as the eVX, was first showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2023. Suzuki has finally revealed a production ready version of the same at Milan, Italy.

It gets a rather muscular styling that aims at justifying the ‘SUV’ tag. There’s a connected tailbar and octagonal headlights, joined together by a closed grille. The brand new alloy wheel design complements the rest of the car.
