As per the latest reports, the new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan will make debut in coming months and will boast noticeable changes over the current iterations. 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Styling Updates 

The first and foremost highlight of the Dzire would be its new design. Similar to the new Swift, the upcoming Dzire will also look like a subtle upgraded version of the current model. We’ve already come across a few spy shots of the sedan being tested in the city as well as high in the mountains. All of the leaked photos hint towards a more evolved version of the current car in terms of exterior styling. Needless to say, it will be the front which will boast the maximum changes and will get a redesigned fascia with a sportier bonnet design, a new bumper, a new grille, and a new set of LED headlights. 

At the rear, the new 2024 Dzire will get new LED taillights with a stretched-out design. Along with it, the boot lid and the rear bumper will also undergo subtle updates. The overall silhouette of the new Dzire would be more or less similar to the current model. Not to mention, the brand new set of alloy wheels on the top variants will surely enhance its road presence.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Features

We recently saw that the new Swift was launched with a number of new features like a new infotainment console, wireless phone charging, etc. The new Maruti Dzire features list is also likely to see similar changes and might include many segment-first features. For starters, the top variant is likely to get an electric sunroof, a feature loved by Indian customers. The interiors, just like the present model, will get a beige treatment to make the cabin feel more airy. The rear seat will get adjustable headrests and a centre armrest along with other practical features like a rear-ac vent. Other features like cruise control, etc., would be carried forward from the new-gen Swift.

New Engine

The biggest change that the new Dzire will get is a 1.2L, three-cylinder petrol engine. This will be the same unit which we saw on the new Swift. Badged ‘Z-series’, this naturally aspirated unit generates a peak power of 80.46bhp and a peak torque of 111.7Nm. This engine will be offered with the options of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. Initially, the Dzire will only be offered with a petrol engine while its CNG variants are likely to be launched by the end of this year or the first quarter of 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Safety Features

Another major improvement in the upcoming Dzire would be in the safety department. Maruti will offer 6 airbags and three-pointed seatbelts as standard equipment on the new-gen models of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024. A similar improvement has been made to the new Swift as well. However, the top versions will get better features like traction control, ESP, hill hold assist, reverse parking camera, etc. The fact that the base model will get 6 airbags as standard means enhanced safety for the passengers.

Expected 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Price And Launch Date

Maruti is expected to bring the new Dzire to the Indian market by September 2024. With the new engine, better features, and improved safety, we expect that the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire price in India will take a hike as compared to the current model. The new model is likely to be priced from Rs. 7-7.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will take on rivals like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
