Maruti Suzuki cars November 2024 sales — Back to reality

As the festive season comes to an end after giving Maruti Suzuki its best ever monthly sales exceeding 2 lakh units, the Indo-Japanese carmaker comes back to the normal pace in the month of November 2024. Maruti Suzuki MoM sales fell by 12.06% in November 2024

It is understandable to see a considerable dip in sales as we move from the auspicious month of October 2024 to November 2024. In the case of Maruti Suzuki car sales, the carmaker saw a sales dip of 12.06%, which included both domestic and export sales. Speaking of individual decline, the domestic sales fell by 11.76% while the exports fell by 13.68%.

Maruti Suzuki YoY sales increase by 10.39% in November 2024

However, things turned out to be much better in YoY sales for Maruti Suzuki. The carmaker saw a combined (domestic + exports) increase of 10.39%. Individually, domestic sales saw a growth of 8.06% while the exports saw an increase of 24.76%.

Top contributors in November 2024

While we are yet to get the sales figures for individual models, SUVs and MPVs remained the key contributors to the November 2024 sales for Maruti Suzuki. In October 2024, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga stood out to be the best-selling car in the country, closely followed by other Maruti Suzuki models. Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki sold 59,003 units in November 2024 of models like the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny and XL6.
