Maruti Suzuki e Vitara internal crash test

First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025, the e Vitara is Maruti Suzuki’s first electric model that is going to go on sale in the Indian market soon. Before it goes on sale and to the Bharat NCAP—India’s own vehicle crash testing body—Maruti Suzuki has put the e Vitara through a series of tests for internal testing, which should be up to the global safety standards since the e Vitara will be exported from India to multiple foreign markets.

The images reveal the e Vitara going through crash tests like frontal impact, frontal offset impact, side impact and battery tests and more. While we can not judge the performance of the e Vitara in the crash tests based on the images, we can expect the electric SUV to perform well in the Bharat NCAP crash tests, given that it has been built on a global Heartect-e platform.
