Mahindra XUV700 Electric (XEV 7e) showcase at Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025

The Mahindra XUV700 ICE model has been available in the market since 2021, and now the electric version, the Mahindra XUV700 Electric, is set to launch soon. This model will be showcased at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. In December of last year, Mahindra also filed a new trademark for XEV 7e, which is expected to be the official name of this EV.

So, what can buyers expect from the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 Electric when it launches? While many features are expected to be inspired by the ICE version, the new electric model will also borrow some elements from Mahindra's recently unveiled EVs. Upcoming Mahindra XUV700 EV exterior

The Mahindra XUV700 EV exterior, based on the leaks so far, seems to feature a connected LED lighting and headlamp setup similar to the Mahindra XEV 9e. At the front, it will feature a smooth surface instead of a traditional grille, with the new Mahindra EV Infinity logo positioned in the centre.

The lower bumper is expected to have some spoiler elements. At the rear, the vehicle will likely come with revised LED taillights. While, overall, it will draw some inspiration from the ICE version, there will be noticeable differences as well.

Mahindra XUV700 Electric interior & features

The upcoming Mahindra XUV700 EV interior is expected to be influenced by the Mahindra XEV 9e, featuring a triple-screen setup for infotainment, a driver display, and a passenger screen. It is also expected to include two-spoke steering wheel, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, 16 speakers, power tailgate, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, auto wipers, and height-adjustable driver seat, among others.

 For safety, it is likely to include multiple airbags, ABS, hill hold assist, ESP, 360-degree camera, parking sensors, and level 2 ADAS features.

Mahindra XUV700 EV battery specs

Like its EV siblings, the XEV 9e and BE 6e, the Mahindra XUV700 EV is also based on the INGLO platform. It is expected to come with two battery options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh, which were also seen in the XEV 9e. The XUV700 EV will likely feature a dual-motor setup with an AWD drivetrain, offering a driving range of up to 650 km.

Mahindra XUV700 Electric launch in India

The Mahindra XUV700 EV India launch is expected to take place in the first half of 2025. However, at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025, it will most likely only be showcased, marking its debut.

Upcoming Mahindra XUV700 Electric price expectation

The Mahindra XUV700 EV price is expected to range between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 27 lakh. It will compete with upcoming rivals like the Tata Harrier EV.
