Mahindra XUV.e8 EV SUV: What To Expect?
The upcoming XUV700 electric, aka the XUV.e8, is going to be based on the INGLO platform. This platform has been specifically developed by Mahindra to incorporate upcoming electric SUVs. In terms of design, the spotted test car appears to be a mix of the current ICE XUV700 and the electric SUV design language by Mahindra. The front fascia is heavily revised with big horizontal slabs and large angular LED DRLs. Additionally, the large air dams on the bumper hint towards an aerodynamic design. The rest of the test car, including the side and rear profile, looks largely unchanged.
On the interior front, Mahindra will equip it with a brand new dashboard with a new connected triple screen design. This design was patented not so long ago, and there is a high probability that it’ll debut via the XUV.e8. Moreover, it’ll get a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo in the middle. Other than that, the test car has ADAS sensors fitted behind the IRVM, indicating that a level 2 autonomous safety system will be offered as standard.
