Mahindra XUV700 Ebony price starts at Rs 19.64 lakh — See what’s new!

Mahindra has launched the XUV700 Ebony Edition in the Indian market and its price starts from Rs 19.64 lakh ex-showroom. The Ebony is to the XUV700 what Dark is to Tata Safari and Carbon Black is to the Scorpio-N. The Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition features a few details that are different from the standard model. Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition — What’s changed?

On the outside, the XUV700 Ebony Edition comes finished in the Sinister Black colour scheme with the black package, which includes blacked-out detailing for the front radiator grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, window chrome garnishing and roof rails. Furthermore, it also gets silver front and rear skid plates for a distinction from the standard XUV700 in black colour.

On the inside, changes are far bigger in contrast to the standard XUV700. Goes the light beige and white colour theme and in comes an all-black dashboard and dark details. The seats come finished in black leatherette material and contrast stitching and the roof liner comes finished in the light grey texture, all of which combines for a stealthy and imposing look on the inside. Other details like the centre console and door cards have also been finished in black trim pieces for a uniform look across the cabin.

Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition features

Since the Ebony Edition is based on the XUV700’s range topping AX7 and AX7L variants, it comes loaded with all the bells and whistles. These features offered on the XUV700 include front ventilated seats, powered driver’s seat with memory function, dual 10-25-inch screens with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7 airbags, 12-speaker Sony sound system, panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS and a lot more.

The XUV700 Ebony Edition commands a premium of Rs 15,000 over the corresponding variants of the standard XUV700. The XUV700 Ebony Edition is only offered in the 2WD drivetrain along with the 7-seater configuration. In case you wish to have either the 6-seater configuration or all-wheel-drivetrain, you will have to go with the standard XUV700.
