This score is split across two key tests: in the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test, it received 13.36 out of 16, while it achieved a perfect 16 out of 16 in the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test. This result highlights the model's safety features and effective design, especially in side-impact scenarios.
Child occupant protection receives 5-star rating
In terms of Child Occupant Protection, the XUV 3XO scored 43.00 out of 49. This score is divided into three key areas. In dynamic testing (front and side impacts), it achieved a full 24 out of 24. For CRS (Child Restraint System) installation, it secured a perfect 12 out of 12. In the Vehicle Assessment category, it scored 7 out of 13. In the second row, the XUV 3XO offers ISOFIX and i-Size CRS options, though it lacks an integrated CRS.

Mahindra XUV 3XO safety: What’s included?
According to Bharat NCAP, this rating applies to all variants of the XUV 3XO model. As for standard safety features, it comes equipped with 6 airbags, ESC (electronic stability control), ISOFIX, pedestrian protection system, seat belt reminders, reverse parking sensors, hill hold assist, and ABS, among others.
On higher variants, the XUV 3XO offers even more advanced features, including 360-degree surround view system with blind view monitor, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).
