Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Spotted For The First Time

As per reports, Mahindra & Mahindra plans to launch as many as 7 battery electric vehicles in the Indian market by 2030, with new models starting from 2025. Among these launches will be that of the electric version of the Mahindra XUV 3XO, which was just spotted testing under camouflage. Here’s what we know about the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV

The testing mule spotted featured what looks like a charging port on the left front fender, which indicates the car was an electric vehicle. The exterior design seems to be akin to the ICE Mahindra XUV 3XO, featuring the same set of headlights and tail lights. The XUV 3XO EV is expected to get a redesigned front grille, and other touches and accents that will differentiate it from its ICE counterpart. It might get the same battery packs found on the Mahindra XUV400. 

All-Electric Mahindra XUV400 

The Mahindra XUV400, the brand’s only EV currently on offer in India, gets a 110kW electric motor, which generates 310Nm of instantaneous torque. It gets two options for the battery pack — 34.5kWh and 39.5kWh. Variants with the smaller battery pack get an MIDC range of 375 kilometres and variants with the larger battery pack get an MIDC range of 456 kilometres. Power is sent to the front wheels.

Electric Mahindra XUV 3XO Expected Launch Date & Price
