Variant | Petrol | Diesel |

AX5 | 8 months | 1 month |
AX5 L | 2-3 months | - |
AX7 | 2 months | 1 month |
AX7 L | 2 months | 1 month |
As you can see in the table above, the highest waiting period is for the petrol manual MX1 base variant of the XUV 3XO. The Mahindra XUV 3XO diesel commands a waiting period of 1 month across all the variants it is available in. Coming to the mid spec variants, they command a waiting period of around 6-8 months. The higher variants command a much lesser waiting period of 2 months.
It goes without saying that the demand for the diesel variants is considerably lower than that of the petrol variants, owing to higher acquisition cost and lower fitness life in certain parts of the country. The higher variants of the XUV 3XO, which come packed with features such as Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and more, attract less waiting period than the low- and mid-spec variants, owing to the better value-for-money quotient.
