It seems to be becoming a tradition for Mahindra to score 5 stars with all of its new cars—from the Scorpio N and Thar Roxx to the new EV duo—Mahindra is not skimming on crash test worthiness for any of its cars. In the latest results published by Bharat NCAP, the new Mahindra XEV 9e scores 5 stars in both adult- and child-occupant safety. Mahindra XEV 9e Bharat NCAP crash test
The Mahindra XEV 9e has scored 5 stars in adult and child occupant safety, making it one of the safest cars to be tested by Bharat NCAP. If we speak about the points, the XEV 9e has been awarded 32 out of 32 points for adult occupant safety and 45 out of 49 points in child occupant safety.

Furthermore, the XEV 9e scored 16 out of 16 points in the frontal offset crash test and same points in the side movable deformable barrier test. In both the tests, the electric SUV was able to offer good protection to all the vital points in the case of both the driver and co-passenger. The XEV 9e also fared well in the side impact pole crash test, rounding off the test with flying colours.
Mahindra XEV 9e safety features
The model tested by Bharat NCAP was equipped with features such as 6 airbags, electronic stability program, ISOFIX child seat anchorages for the rear seat, seat belt reminders and pedestrian protection system. Furthermore, the XEV 9e also comes loaded with features such as a parking camera, advanced driving assistance systems with auto emergency braking, pedestrian detection and more.
