Mahindra XEV 9e, BE 6 register 30,179 bookings on first day

Mahindra opened bookings for the XEV 9e as well as the BE 6 on February 14, and on the first day itself, the carmaker registered 30,179 bookings, hitting a new record in the EV space. Both the XEV 9e and BE 6 are built on Mahindra’s dedicated INGLO EV platform, which will spawn more EVs in the future too. Mahindra XEV 9e, BE 6 bookings open

Continuing with its streak of making records on the first day of bookings commencement, and the EV duo from Mahindra is no exception. The XEV 9e and BE 6, combined, garnered 30,179 bookings on the first day of bookings commencement, which according to Mahindra, is a new record in the EV space. The carmaker registered a booking value of Rs 8,472 crore on the first day from bookings of the XEV 9e and BE 6. 

Talking about the split between the two models, surprisingly, the more expensive and larger XEV 9e accounted for 56% of the total bookings, whereas the BE 6 accounted for the remaining 44%. Furthermore, the carmaker also shared that the top-spec Pack Three equipped with the 79kWh battery pack accounted for 73% of the total bookings across the XEV 9e and BE 6.

Mahindra XEV 9e, BE 6 deliveries

Mahindra has revealed the respective delivery timelines of each variant of the XEV 9e and BE 6. Starting with the Pack One variant, which also includes the One Above, the deliveries of these two variants will begin from August 2025. Deliveries for the Pack Two and Pack Three Select will begin from July 2025 and June 2025, respectively. The deliveries of the Pack Three variant will begin at the earliest, from mid-March 2025.
