Mahindra Thar ROXX Video Reveals New Details Ahead Of Launch

Mahindra Thar ROXX is one of the most anticipated launches of the year 2024. After seeing a plethora of spied images and rumours, Mahindra took the wraps off the Thar 5 Door last week, and also revealed the new name — the Thar ROXX. Needless to say, the first glimpse of the SUV was perceived well by the audience but the same can not be said for the name. Mahindra has now released a new teaser video, revealing new design details of the Thar ROXX, ahead of its launch on August 15, 2024.

Mahindra Thar ROXX New Details

The new video gives a glimpse into the new Mahindra Thar ROXX design details. While the earlier video revealed just the front-quarter image of the SUV, the new video reveals the SUV from multiple angles, giving a deep dive into its design. It is also for the first time that we have gotten to see the Mahindra Thar ROXX in action rolling down a road.

Speaking of the details, the video reveals circular LED headlights with C-shaped LED DRLs, which are flanked by a multi-slat radiator grille. Around the side, the new Thar ROXX showcases its 5-door bodystyle and the video also reveals the unique placement of rear door handles on the C-pillars. Furthermore, the Thar ROXX features chunky wheel arch cladding with amber turn indicators. Other details include dual-tone alloy wheels, new LED tail lights, chunky outside rearview mirrors and running boards and LED fog lights.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door Engine Options

Just like the Thar 3-door, the new 2024 Mahindra Thar ROXX is expected to get three engine options — a 1.5-litre diesel, a 2.2-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre petrol engine. Needless to say, the buyers will have an option of manual and automatic gearboxes to choose from. Likewise, multiple 5-door Mahindra Thar ROXX RWD variants will also be on offer.

Mahindra Thar ROXX Launch Date And Expected Price

The Mahindra Thar ROXX launch is set to take place on August 15, 2024, four years after the launch of the Thar 3-door. The Mahindra Thar 3 door price starts from Rs 11.35 lakh and goes all the way up to 17.60 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. Based on the starting price of the Mahindra Thar, we expect the Mahindra Thar ROXX price to start from Rs 14 lakh and go all the way up to 20 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi.
