Mahindra Thar Roxx price hiked for the first time in India – Old vs new price list

The Mahindra Thar Roxx has become more expensive for buyers, with price hikes ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000. It is available in six variants – MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L. While the hike affects the top variants – MX5, AX5L, and AX7L – the lower variants remain unchanged and are still priced at their previous levels. Mahindra Thar Roxx price increased

The highest Mahindra Thar Roxx price hike was seen on the AX7L variant, available with both MT and AT options and in 4WD, which received a Rs 60,000 increase, regardless of the engine choice. The AX7L Petrol AT 2WD, AX7L Diesel MT 2WD, and AX7L Diesel AT 2WD variants saw a uniform hike of Rs 50,000. 

The Mahindra Thar Roxx price for the MX5 Diesel MT 4WD variant went up by Rs 30,000, while the lowest hike was seen on the AX5L Diesel AT 4WD variant.

Mahindra Thar Roxx new price list 

The Mahindra Thar Roxx price range now starts at Rs 12.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 23.09 lakh. The price hike mostly affects the higher variants, but if you choose the MX1, MX3, or AX3L variants, you won't have to worry about the increase. Additionally, not all engine options in the top variants are affected by the hike—only select engine options within those variants see the price increase.

Mahindra Thar Roxx engine specs

The Mahindra Thar Roxx comes equipped with two engine options: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options, featuring a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration. Additionally, there's a 2.2-litre diesel engine that comes with the same gearbox choices, available in four-wheel drive (4WD). Selected variants, including the MX5 MT, AX7L MT, AX5L AT, and AX7L AT, also get a four-wheel-drive (4WD) option.
