Mahindra Thar Roxx bookings open nationwide, starting at Rs 12.99 lakh

Mahindra has opened bookings for the Thar Roxx across the country, and customers can now secure theirs with a token amount of Rs 21,000. The SUV comes in six different variants—MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L. Prices start at Rs 12.99 lakh and go up to Rs 22.49 lakh. Variants, prices, and engine options

The Mahindra Thar Roxx comes with two engine options. The 2.0-litre petrol engine delivers 162PS and 330 Nm with the 6-speed manual gearbox, while the automatic gearbox increases it to 177PS and 380Nm. The 2.2-litre diesel engine offers 152PS and 330Nm with the 6-speed manual, and with the automatic, it produces 175PS and 370Nm. The 2WD option is standard across the lineup, while the 4WD is available only in selected diesel variants – MX5, AX5L, and AX7L.

Interior & exterior colour & delivery timeline

The newly introduced Mocha Brown interior is exclusive to the 4WD variants. The standard interior colour is Ivory White, and choosing the Mocha Brown option doesn’t add any extra cost. For the exterior, there are seven colour choices: Deep Forest, Everest White, Tango Red, Battleship Grey, Nebula Blue, Burnt Sienna, and Stealth Black.

Deliveries are set to begin from Dussehra onwards, but if you're interested in the 4X4 models with the Mocha Brown interior, you'll have to wait a bit longer, as those will start being delivered by the end of January 2025.

A closer look at interior and safety features

The Roxx offers standout features like a 10.24-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, a digital cluster of the same size, 8 speakers, wireless charging, MapMyIndia navigation, 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, front ventilated seats, automatic climate control, and an active carbon filter, among others.

In terms of safety, it comes with 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, a blind-view monitor, TPMS, parking sensors, immobilizer, E-call & SOS, hill hold control, traction control, and ESC with EBD. It also boasts Level 2 ADAS, featuring Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and more.
