Mahindra June 2024 Sales In India - Sets A New Milestone

Mahindra & Mahindra, India’s homegrown automotive manufacturer, has clocked a sales number of 40,022 units for its domestic passenger vehicle market in June 2024. This indicates a 22.8% growth in sales from June last year, which stood at 32,588 units. As compared to the numbers from May 2024, the Mahindra monthly sales in June 2024 dropped by 7.4% from 43,218 units. Total Mahindra passenger vehicle sales including exports stood at 40,644 units.

The total sales number for the month of June 2024 stood at 69,397 units, which included both passenger vehicles as well as commercial vehicles for domestic and export markets. This is an 11% growth from the same month last year. Domestic commercial vehicle sales accounted for 20,594 units of this sales figure.

Mahindra Sets A New Record 

Mahindra also achieved a milestone of selling 2 Lakh units of the XUV700 this June. This incredible feat was achieved in a span of just 33 months! To celebrate this milestone, Mahindra has launched as many as two new Mahindra XUV700 colours — Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna. This also marks 25 years of the Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up in India.

The present passenger vehicle lineup of Mahindra includes eight SUVs — XUV700, Scorpio N, Scorpio Classic, XUV 3XO, Thar, Bolero, Bolero Neo and Marazzo. The recently launched 3XO, essentially the facelifted version of the XUV 300, is doing quite well for the brand, securing 50,000 bookings in the first hour of its launch. The latest Mahindra 3XO waiting period stands at four to six months, depending on the variant you opt for.

Commenting on the latest sales figures, Mr Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. said, “We sold a total of 40,022 SUVs in June, a growth of 23% and 69,397 total vehicles, a 11% growth over last year. June has been a momentous month, as we rolled out the 200,000th XUV700 from our facility. We also celebrated 25 years of Bolero Pik-Ups, a category creator and a market leader in the LCV segment.”
