Mahindra Auto has been doing very well in car sales in India, notably crossing Hyundai to become the second largest carmaker in India in February 2025. MoM and YoY analysis

Month-on-month growth remained constant, with 192 more units sold in March 2025 as compared to February 2025. While domestic sales fell, exports grew, taking the cumulative number upwards. Year-on-year growth stood at a massive 22.6%, with 15,481 more units sold than the same month last year.
Mahindra passenger vehicle sales

Talking solely about passenger vehicles, Mahindra sold 48,048 SUVs in March 2025, as compared to 40,631 units in March 2024, translating to a growth of 18.3%.

Mahindra commercial vehicle sales

Commercial vehicle segment saw mixed movement, with positive growth noticed in LCV 2T – 3.5 T and 3-Wheeler categories, and negative growth reported in LCV < 2T and LCV > 3.5T + MHCV categories.
