Mahindra cars December 2024 sales
In the month of December 2024, Mahindra and Mahindra sold 41,424 units in the domestic market, marking an increase of 18% over December 2023. Furthermore, Mahindra also registered growth of over 70% in export sales, dispatching 3,092 units in December 2024. It is worth mentioning that the sales numbers mentioned above reflect the number of units dispatched from the factory to Mahindra dealerships and not sale to the end customers.
Mahindra year-to-date sales 2024
Talking about Mahindra auto year-to-date sales in 2024, the SUV-maker sold 4,02,360 units between March 2024 and December 2024, marking an increase of 21%. Between March 2023 and December 2023, Mahindra sold 3,33,764 units.
According to Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “We sold 41424 SUVs, a growth of 18% and 69768 total vehicles, a growth of 16% in December. The year ended on a high, as we became the only Indian auto company to attain the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) world leader status within the Auto Sector. The DJSI ranking is one of the most respected global benchmarks for ESG performance, covering over 13,000 companies across various industries and we are ranked 1st among all global auto OEMs.”

Mahindra auto commercial sales
Coming to the commercial sales, Mahindra Auto sold 16,139 units of LCV 2T - 3.5T in December 2024, which marks an increase of 16%. Back in December 2023, Mahindra managed to sell 13,958 units of the same category. 3 wheeler sales also registered an increase of 8%, registering sales of 5,750 units in December 2024 over December 2023’s 5,307 unit sales.
